Aaron J. Mendoza
Director & Stage Manager

About Me
I am a gay, Mexican-American Director and Stage Manager from the colorful state of Colorado. I take pride in the work that I do, and the collaborators I work with. I am passionate about the stories I tell and try to lead life through love and compassion. I am excited about the future and experiencing new things.
Artists Statement
I am a recent graduate of Otterbein University with a BA in Theatre and a minor in Arts Administration. I have also studied at the National Theater Institute for Advance Directing.
As I look forward to the theatre I wish to create, I hope to create spaces that allow for open and collaborative communication. I wish to create theatre that gives space for controversial and injustice work, telling stories that are not always told or are hard to confront.
The work that I hope to share with the world and the stories I believe are important are the ones that are the hardest to face. The stories that may be hard to witness, the stories that show different perspectives. I wish to be an artist that uplift communities, that give voices to those who may not have always had a voice. I wish to cultivate a culture in which each of our differences, and our life experiences are tools in how we create meaningful and life-changing theater.
